In my opinion, carp fishing in the UK doesn’t get any better than this.
On the outskirts of London lies a 13-acre gravel pit—a mature lake that’s been around since the early 1900s. It’s full of islands and channels, but most importantly, it holds one of the best carp in London.
I’d had my sights set on this lake since 2018, and finally, it was time for the campaign to begin. I gave just about everything I had in pursuit of this fish, and it certainly came with its challenges—the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
Eventually, though, I began to put the pieces together.
