Check out the newest addition to our showroom, this beautiful 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Shelby GT500 KR Tribute. This Mustang has undergone a complete Nut & Bolt build. It started its life as a rust free 1968 GT 390 S-Code, and was upgraded to Shelby GT500 KR specs. Starting with the metal on the car, all the pinch welds appear to be factory, clean and straight. The floor pans appeared to be untouched factory panels, and the sub-frame is free of repairs. The floorboards were lined with dynamat at the time of the build. Under the hood sits a Ford 428 Cobra Jet V8 attached to a Tremec TKO 5-Speed Manual Transmission and Ford 9 Inch 3:73 Detroit Locker Rear End. The interior has the period correct Shelby dash, console, gauges, roll bar, and seatbelts. All interior lights and gauges work including those in the console and in the rear of the car along with the door lighting. All exterior lighting, fog lights, turn signals, markers, etc. work properly. The car has a big advantage over most of the others out there, as it can be driven reliably, has ice-cold A/C, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, and virtually all of the high dollar correct Shelby KR components available. This is a high end Mustang any collector or enthusiast would love to own!
