Yellow Dragon of the Center | Speedpaint in Krita | Beats

Описание: Part 5 of the auspicious beats of Chinese mythology series.

This is the yellow dragon of the center Huang Long.

The process in this one was more attempt at finding a cool work flow for this style as far as layers with masks, and a lot of labeling with group folders. Not something I focus on so much coming from a traditional background, but it is dope what software can pull off, and practice!

This process took roughly 16 hours over a few days. Luckily I've painted so many dragons since last year I didn't really have to do studies for this as far as anatomy and stuff, but it was a practice of developing a cool render, and develop workflow, plus just enjoy the process!

The final was inspired that Huang Long is at the bottom of the Yellow River, in a auric pearl sphere, perhaps meditating on the move to make, and always surrounded by the energy of the other cardinal beasts connected to them in some way nearby or not.

This painting was the last for this series.

Moving forward IDK what the next will be, a series, random styles, random themes, genres, mediums, freestyles, studies, fan art?
I def have some ideas.
But for now these Chinese beast illustrations were fun, def learned a lot more about digital painting by the end of this series.

The music is beats I made over a year ago. Been focusing on art for awhile. but I have started producing music again! So it'll be dope to post new music asap.
