I first saw this plant on YouTube while searching for unique garden plants to grow in my climate. The fruit was compared to the tomatillo on how it grows in the protective husk, but not similar in taste.
I'm not fond of larger tomatoes, but I found that I like cherry tomatoes. The sweeter, the better! So, this fruit is said to taste like either one or a combo of these:
• pineapple
• mango
• grapes
• vanilla
Of course, I had to grow it and see for myself! All I can say is, "Different but I like them a lot!"
