India slams Pakistan at UN, calls UNSC role responsibility not propaganda forum

Описание: India has strongly criticized Pakistan at the United Nations, stating that membership in the UN Security Council is a “huge responsibility” and not a platform for spreading biased or false narratives. India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, responded after Pakistan raised the issue of Jammu and Kashmir at a UN General Assembly discussion on the Security Council’s annual report. He said Pakistan continues to misuse international forums for political purposes and reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. The Indian envoy emphasized that repeated references to the issue do not alter historical and legal realities. He also highlighted the need for reforms in the Security Council to reflect current global realities and improve its effectiveness in addressing modern challenges.
