FAIRFIELD HORSESHOE | A 10 Mile Circular Walk | Lake District National Park

Описание: Happy Easter everyone! Today's hike is a classic & an absolutely spectacular circular route from Rydal or Ambleside to Fairfield summit at 873m. It's a brilliant route to do on a day with great conditions as it provides stunning views all along the route and takes in a total of 8 Wainwrights. For that reason, I'd say it is a moderately difficult walk, not technically but in terms of the continuous nature of the walk to reach all 8 Wainwrights! As mentioned, the descent can be lengthy and can involve a tricky step down at a "bad step" at Low Brock Crags, which can be avoided if the alternative route is taken.

⛰️Ticks off 8 Wainwrights - Nab Scar, Low Pike, High Pike, Heron Pike, Hart Crag, Great Rigg, Fairfield, and Dove Crag
