Rohit Arya, the man accused of holding 17 children hostage in Mumbai’s Powai, has died after being injured in a gunfire exchange with the police. According to officials, Arya fired at police using an air gun during the rescue operation, prompting them to return fire. The incident took place inside RA Studios, where Arya had lured the children under the pretext of an “audition.” All 17 children were safely rescued, while Arya succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
