This is one of the prettiest Doom total conversions I've played, especially in the dense forest scenes filled with ambient sound and wildlife. The beauty eventually starts to give way to surprising horrors. The combat is fast and lethal, and while you only find two guns they are effective and satisfying. My minor gripe is that sometimes it is easy to get lost owing to the lack of an automap, coupled with some labyrinthian areas and dense forests. But the hand-drawn map and paying attention to your surroundings are part of the atmosphere. I hope you enjoy this playthrough and try it yourself!

Played with the latest GZDoom. I noticed I have dynamic lights off in this because I usually turn them off. I find them quite garish usually. However turn them on and you may find it even more atmospheric!
