Amidst a dangerous confrontation with the United States, Iran has openly thanked India for its decision at the United Nations. The matter concerns the 39th special session of the UN Human Rights Council, where a resolution was introduced to increase scrutiny of Iran. India voted against this resolution, which was put forward by Western countries. Most surprisingly, India and Pakistan adopted the same stance on this issue. Iran has described India's decision as a courageous and principled step.
संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका के साथ खतरनाक टकराव के बीच ईरान ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र में भारत के फैसले को लेकर खुलकर धन्यवाद दिया है. मामला संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार परिषद के 39वें विशेष सत्र का है. यहां ईरान के खिलाफ निगरानी बढाने का प्रस्ताव लाया गया था. भारत ने इस प्रस्ताव के खिलाफ सीधा वोट दिया. यह प्रस्ताव पश्चिमी देशों की तरफ से पेश किया गया था. सबसे चौंकाने वाली बात यह रही कि इस मुद्दे पर भारत और पाकिस्तान एक ही रुख पर नजर आए. भारत के इस फैसले को ईरान ने साहसिक और सिद्धांतों पर आधारित कदम बताया है.
