Описание: BLC Construction completed a tenant improvement in Bolingbrook, Illinois at a 189,135 square foot food processing facility, including 166,628 square feet of warehouse space designed to support storage and third-party logistics shipping operations.

The project included construction of an 8,675 square foot cooler and a 6,485 square foot freezer, each equipped with high-speed roll-up doors to allow rapid access while maintaining strict temperature control.

Condensing units were installed on a new concrete pad on the exterior of the building to support the facility’s refrigeration and cooling systems.

Inside the facility, BLC Construction built ten production rooms, supported by five 25-ton fresh air HVAC units, ensuring consistent air circulation and controlled environments throughout operations.

To mitigate odors from dry food processing and 3PL shipping activities, over 640 linear feet of 40-foot-high demising walls were constructed to effectively separate operations.

Office-area improvements included the expansion of two single-use restrooms into multi-stall facilities, enhancing capacity and employee comfort, along with a 1,650 square foot warehouse breakroom and two remote warehouse offices.

In addition, a dedicated quality control laboratory was built along side the production rooms to support regulatory compliance, product testing, and overall product integrity.
