3 Big Threats Facing Christians and Churches in 2026
Churches across the United States are facing a changing threat environment going into 2026. Recent attacks, public rhetoric, and online behavior make it clear that hostility toward Christians is no longer abstract. It is showing up in real places, against real congregations.

In this video, I walk through the primary threats churches need to understand right now. That includes lone wolf attackers, Islamic terrorism, and growing anti Christian extremism coming from the radical left. We’ll also look at how online rhetoric and encouragement can translate into real world violence, even when attacks are carried out by individuals acting alone.

This is not fear based content. It is a sober assessment of what we are seeing and why churches cannot afford denial or complacency. Preparation, awareness, and discernment matter if churches are going to remain open, welcoming, and faithful in an increasingly hostile culture.

I’ll also close with Scripture that helps frame these events biblically, not emotionally, and explains why vigilance and faith are meant to exist together.
