I played this using keyboard controls with the original tank control scheme. I tried the modern movement and man, that is some strangeness.

The remaster introduces the ability to roll midair in Tomb Raider 1. Being able to roll mid air does very little in this game aside from allowing you to be way more aggressive in combat. It does allow you to grab the second secret in St. Francis’ in an alternate way but I'm pretty sure this is the only thing you can do the entire game that you wouldn't have been able to do in the original version.

Because the remaster is based on the PC version, you can swap weapons and use medi kits by using the number keys. You can easily try this yourself. I swear to God, if I get a bunch more “lol, you cheated” comments on this run, I’m going to start banning people. You dummies.

The remaster does not fix several bugs and issues with the levels themselves, such as the unreachable large medi kit in Palace Midas. I do use the corner bug to grab it. Fun fact: There is an achievement for doing this.

The unobtainable items in Atlantis are also still unobtainable in the remaster and this means it’s not possible to get the achievement for collecting every item in the game at time of recording. I finished recording this 4 days after release.

Most levels are done in either 1 or 2 segments. Natla’s Mines has 3 because it’s Natla’s Mines and I segment right at the end of Atlantis because of the way the game transitions into the final level.
