Bihar’s political arena intensified as Upendra Kushwaha, a former Union Minister, critiqued Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders Lalu and Tejashwi Yadav. Kushwaha likened the RJD to a “sinking ship” and asserted that Nitish Kumar remains loyal to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He dismissed speculation of Kumar switching sides and praised NDA’s strong leadership ahead of the 2025 elections. Kushwaha accused Prashant Kishor of dubious motives for promoting Tejashwi. Confident in the NDA’s prospects, Kushwaha declared RJD’s relevance is waning in Bihar politics.
