宽广的涪江滋养无数古镇，桂花镇就是其中之一，位于四川遂宁船山区的桂花镇，相传因昔日遍地桂树而得名。曾经的正街沿涪江蜿蜒向前，虽道路已拓宽，两旁穿斗木架的老房子仍静静伫立。如今涪江已经停航几十年，江面上再无船只往来，千帆竞发的盛景已沉为旧梦。横街子改名兴隆街，300 米老街上百十户人家相守，石板路虽换作水泥，古朴肌理仍藏着当年风华。屋檐下，几位老人摇着蒲扇闲话当年，那些喧闹的过往便随着晚风，轻轻漫过老街的青砖黛瓦。The mighty Fu River nourishes countless ancient towns, one of which is Guihua Town. Located in Chuanshan District, Suining, Sichuan, Guihua Town is said to have earned its name from the once-thriving osmanthus trees. Main Street once meandered along the Fu River. Though the road has been widened, the old wooden houses still stand quietly on both sides. Navigation on the Fu River has been suspended for decades, and no ships ply the river. The once-grand spectacle of thousands of sails vying for attention has become a thing of the past. Hengjiezi, renamed Xinglong Street, now houses hundreds of households along its 300-meter-long path. Though the stone paving has been replaced with concrete, the rustic texture still evokes the charm of its past. Beneath the eaves, several elderly residents fan themselves with palm-leaf fans and chat about the past. The evening breeze carries the bustling past gently across the old street's blue bricks and black tiles.
