In this part of the How to Realize Love Series, Joel S. Goldsmith’s Infinite Way revelation unfolds the secret of Love and Grace as one Presence. Grace is not bestowed from above; it is the activity of Love within us. This meditative talk and guided practice explore the mystical union of Love and Grace as the birth of the Christ-consciousness in daily life.
Grace is not a reward. Grace is the activity of Love revealing itself.
Joel S. Goldsmith wrote,
“Grace is not something God gives; Grace is God Himself in action.” (The Art of Meditation, p. 118)
Many imagine Grace as divine favor bestowed for good deeds. But Goldsmith revealed the mystical secret: Grace is the very nature of Love acting without condition, without cause, without end.
“Grace is the Presence of Love fulfilling Itself as our experience.” (The Infinite Way Letters 1955, April Letter)
When you live in Love, you live in Grace, because Love has no opposite and no withholding
Love as the Law of Grace
Love and Grace are not two powers.
Love is the law of Grace — the principle by which harmony manifests.
“When we dwell in Love, we live under Grace, and law no longer operates upon us.” (Living the Infinite Way, p. 94)
Human existence operates under cause and effect — as ye sow, so shall ye reap.
But spiritual life unfolds under a new dispensation: Grace.
Grace erases karmic reaction because Love recognizes only God as Cause and Effect.
In that realization, your life begins to flow effortlessly — not by struggle, but by divine order.
The Inner State Where Grace Is Known
Grace cannot be earned; it can only be realized.
To realize Grace is to rest in the silence where Love knows Itself.
“Grace functions only in the consciousness that is at peace.”
(The Thunder of Silence, p. 74)
When you are anxious, you are living under human law.
When you are still — surrendered — you are under Grace.
In this stillness, Love reveals its own fulfillment.
You need do nothing but remain receptive.
“Grace cannot enter where personal will abides. It enters the heart that has become a vacuum for God.” (The Art of Meditation, p. 120)
Joel called this inner state the mystical union.
“Love is the Bride, Grace the Bridegroom; in their union is born the Christ.” (The Infinite Way Letters 1956)
Human love strives; divine Love rests.
Human prayer asks; spiritual communion listens.
Goldsmith wrote,
“Grace begins where human effort ends.”
(The Art of Spiritual Healing, p. 154)
Every moment you stop trying to make things happen, you step into Grace.
The mind’s control is released, and divine Love reveals perfect order.
Ask nothing of God — only be still and know.
This is the practice of “resting in Grace.”
Joel taught that when Love and Grace are realized, they appear outwardly as perfect supply, safety, and fulfillment — but the forms are incidental.
“When you live in the realization of Grace, the outer world conforms to the inner peace.” (Living the Infinite Way, p. 97)
Therefore, the goal is not demonstration, but realization.
Demonstrations follow naturally, like fragrance from a flower.
“Grace maintains its own; we have no need to outline or desire.”
(Practicing the Presence, p. 114)
This understanding frees you from fear about health, security, or future.
Love and Grace are the invisible law of your being.
Living Under Grace in Daily Life
The consciousness of Love and Grace does not serve the personal self alone; it radiates blessing to all.
“One moment of realized Grace in your consciousness blesses the universe.” (The Infinite Way Letters 1954, December Letter)
This is the secret of spiritual service.
When you abide in Love, you lift the world.
Your silent realization becomes an invisible ministry — a healing influence felt wherever there is receptivity.
You do not need to send Grace; it flows of its own accord through the consciousness that knows only God.
Now rest in silence.
Silence...
“Where Love is realized as Grace, the Kingdom of Heaven is on earth.” (Consciousness Unfolding, p. 132)
Let us affirm together:
“I live under Grace.
Love is my law, Grace is my life.
In this union, all is fulfilled.”
Remember — Love realized as Grace is God revealed.
