Anywho, welcome back after a year and a half long hiatus to Reboot Rap Battles where today we have two cooks, The Ultimate Chef aka Teruteru Hanamura and Cooking Mama from Cooking Mama! This is part of this year's 100 hour challenge and thus was made in 100 hours.

cooking mama is a video game series and media franchise owned by cooking mama limited. the series is a cookery simulation-styled minigame compilation of many video games and adventures for nintendo gaming platforms. generally, the gameplay revolves around performing different kitchen tasks, through the instructions of "mama", to cook various meals. the series so far consists of five main games on nintendo ds and nintendo 3ds, two spin-offs on wii and ds each, as well as a spin off on 3ds. it is also a spin-off to the gardening mama series. the original cooking mama video game was also ported to ios. a sixth main series game, cooking mama: cookstar, was released for the nintendo switch and playstation 4 in 2021.

teruteru hanamura is one of the characters featured in danganronpa 2: goodbye despair. he's a diminutive student who is known for his culinary skills and inappropriate remarks, and is a bisexual pervert. he often claims to be an urban chef but is in fact from a highly rural area of japan where his mother and his siblings (candidates for the title of ultimate escort) ran a restaurant, which he wanted to help save by finding success. he finds out about nagito's plot to murder and tries to prevent the plot by killing nagito first but inadvertently ends up killing byakuya instead. teruteru feigned disbelief at the situation but was actually the most worried, as his concern for his dying mother and her poor health drove him to panic. he is executed by being coated in eggs and breadcrumbs, then being deep-fried in a volcano. his title is ultimate cook, but prefers to be called the ultimate chef, claiming it sounds more sophisticated. his execution is named "deep fried teruteru".
