The Amazing Work of the Gospel Happens When We Receive the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost
Two thousand years ago, after Jesus died on the cross, the apostles were trembling in fear, but after receiving the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, they boldly testified that Jesus is the Messiah. Just as the apostles did, the members of the Church of God today, having received the Holy Spirit of the latter rain on the Day of Pentecost, boldly testify that Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother have come to save mankind.

Acts 2:1–4
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. . . . All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
