Having openly autistic role models like Mayor Anothy in public service is critically important to showing the world what is possible for ND folks. It’s also a key to advancing neuroinclusion in public life.
After hearing about #TeamNiB’s work on the London Neuroinclusive Capital project, Mayor Anthony has officially started the City of Burbank on the path to being a neuroinclusive city.
Known as the Media Captial of the World, Burbank is a great city to lead the neuroinclusion charge in the US given how many ND folk work in creative fields. The Mayor expressed his desire to not only follow London’s lead but to do even more to advance neuroinclusion.
We challenge other cities in the US and around the world to follow London’s and Burbank’s examples and prioritise neuroinclusion.
