Описание: Introduction: A common theme in modern fiction is parallel universes. I think it became mainstream with Marvel and even won an Oscar with Everything Everywhere All at Once, but my first encounter with a world adjacent to ours was with The Golden Compass, an amazing book that later became a decent series on HBO: His Dark Materials.

In practical terms we call this “What if?” and in English grammar terms we call them the Conditionals. This episode we’ll see the rules related to the conditionals, it can be a little awkward, see some details, and ask loads of fun hypothetical questions.

Warmup Question: What if you had studied something else?

We all accumulate wisdom over time. It might be faster in some than others and each person learns at their own pace, but time and experience are efficient teachers. Our ignorance grows as well. We see what works for us on the path we’re walking on and that means abandoning the infinite potential other paths which would have taught us different life lessons.

What was another path you were close to going down? I want you to start with: “If I had (action), I would have (result).”

If I had been more aware of how much I like healthy movement, I would have become a physical therapist. I think people deal with a lot of physical pain which has a ripple effect in other areas of their lives
