Season Greetings!! I am sharing my creamy hot cocoa dip with a side of candy cane cocoa martini and a spicy hot cocoa drink ☕🍫These three cozy hot cocoa–inspired treats are perfect for the holidays, winter gatherings, or a cozy night in.
I start with a rich and creamy Hot Cocoa Dip that’s perfect for dipping cookies, fruit, or pretzels. Then I make a warm and spiced Mexican Hot Cocoa with a little kick, followed by a festive Candy Cane Hot Cocoa Martini with an added non alcoholic version.
These recipes are simple, indulgent, and perfect for entertaining or holiday dessert boards. Whether you’re hosting or just treating yourself, there’s something here for everyone!

Hot Chocolate Dip Recipe:
1 block cream cheese
1 jar Fluff
¾ cup hot chocolate Mix
1 cup thawed Cool Whip
What to do:
1. Mix cream cheese until smooth
2. Add hot cocoa mix - mix well
3. Add fluff - mix well
4. Fold in Cool Whip
5. Put in a bowl, cover, refrigerate until ready to serve, at least an hour
6. Add topping if you want prior to serving. Optional toppings; red and green m&ms, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, Christmas sprinkles
Mexican Hot Chocolate Recipe:
1 cup milk + 1 cup heavy cream
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp vanilla
⅛ tsp chili powder
⅛ tsp cayenne (optional)
1 oz unsweetened chocolate block
What to do:
1. In a pot put milk, cream, sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla, and spices. Mix with whisk til blended
2. Add chocolate block, heat until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is hot but NOT boiling
3. Divide hot cocoa into 2 mugs and serve with marshmallows, chocolate shavings and a cinnamon stick
Candy Cane Hot Cocoa Martini Recipe:
Ice & a Shaker
2 tsp hot cocoa mix
1.5 oz Candy cane liqueur (peppermint liquor)(non alcoholic version use candy cane syrup)
2 oz milk + extra to top up martini glass
Chocolate syrup and crushed candy canes to rim glass
Whipped cream and crushed candy canes on top
What to do:
1. Put ice in shaker
2. Rim glass with chocolate syrup and crushed candy canes
3. In the shaker put your hot cocoa mix, candy cane liqueur and milk
4. Shake until cocoa powder is mixed well about 20 second
5. Pour into glass, top with whipped cream and crushed candy canes on top
