Описание: A 1-day Intensive Chan Meditation Retreat focusing on the Teachings of the Platform Sutra of Master Hui Neng. Learn how to find peace and clarity of mind, through the use of Chan Buddhist meditation methods on and off the cushion--in stillness and movement. David will give instructions based on the principles of the Platform Sutra, one of the most important texts within Chan Buddhism, which takes all of the essential teachings of the Buddha and simplifies them into everyday, practical language.

David Listen has been teaching Chan (Zen) meditation for over 10 years, leading numerous intensive meditation retreats, classes, and activities at various meditation centers, as well as teaching at many college campuses and other institutions worldwide. Previously known as Venerable Chang Wen, he was one of the few western monastic disciples of Chan Master Sheng Yen. He had been a monk for over a decade and has since returned to lay life to share Buddhism in his own creative way.
