Headband Braid Tutorial | Great Summer Hairstyle

Описание: It can sometimes be difficult to find a cute and creative hairstyle that works well to keep hair out of your face in the summer. I want to share with you one of my favorite braids, the headband braid, which is a great summer hairstyle. It looks adorable, keeps the hair out of your face, works great with a hat, and is a super easy hairstyle for moms to learn for their little girls. Enjoy!

Here is a written step by step process of how to create a headband braid for a child or yourself.
1. Start by parting your hair into one line all across the front of your head.
2. Put the remaining hair in the back into a ponytail to keep it out of your way while you create the headband braid.
3. Tilt your head away from the side that you want to start your headband braid on, pull your hair in the same direction that your head is tilted, and split the hair into three sections. The sections of hair are going to be small so the first part of the headband braid will be the most difficult.
4. Start creating a dutch braid, but only pulling from the your hairline, not the part line you created in the previous step.
5. Continue the dutch braid across your head, continuing to keep the headband braid tight to your scalp so that it stays better throughout the day.
6. Pancake the headband braid after you secure the end of your braid. It helps the headband braid stay flat and appear fuller and thicker.
7. The best way to deal with the flyaway hairs is to cover the face and spray some hairspray across the braid. This will help the braid stay well throughout the day.
