The Penticton Farmers' Market is a non-profit society whose purpose is to conduct a market in the City of Penticton at which small scale agricultural producers and craftspeople may offer their wares directly to the public.

From it's small beginning in Gyro Park in 1991, the Penticton Farmers' Market has grown into one of the most vibrant and successful "farm to city" food micro-systems in the province.

Members are local farmers and home crafters who have been accepted on a probationary or "casual" basis for one year before being considered for full membership in the market. Presently, the Penticton Farmers' Market has approximately 60 members and 25 casuals.

If you "Grow it, Bake it or Make it" you may qualify for a stall at the market.
The Penticton Farmers' Market is especially grateful for the City of Penticton's cooperation, and is pleased to collaborate with, and enhance, the tourism industry in the South Okanagan.

Encouraging public support of food self-reliance is a role of farmers' markets everywhere, and the Penticton Farmers' Market is proud to be part of this movement.
