Field stripping the G43 bolt assembly is fairly easy if you understand the function of the internal bolt components and their interactions as an assembly. Whether you fire live rounds or blanks, meticulous cleaning and inspection of all internal parts after a day of shooting is highly recommended. This is especially important if you don't use a "shooter kit" for reducing bolt carrier back slam or if you are shooting late war G/K34 rifles manufactured under duress, suffering from insufficient heat treatment or sub standard material quality.
