In this video, I demonstrate how to remove a stuck vacuum breaker from your hose bibb or spigot. These vacuum breakers have a set screw that is designed to break off during installation, making the vacuum breaker very difficult to remove. Luckily, it can be removed with the right technique and proper tools. If your local code requires a new vacuum breaker to be installed, I highly recommend NOT breaking off the set screw, it will make future replacements so much easier.
