This drive belt replacement video follows (basically) the OEM repair manual that came with my 2019 XUV 865R John Deere Gator diesel. I'm not a professional, just a shade-tree mechanic trying to save a buck here and there by doing things myself...only takes a few hours at the most!
John Deere Synchronous Drive Belt M174096 ordered from 247parts.com for about $120.
The factory belt developed burn spots, and was rather jerky in high range gear. The belt burned out at just over 600 miles of heavy farm use over the last few years. The first indicator was a loss in top speed from 36 mph to around 25 mph. With the new belt installed, the top speed is now 37 miles per hour. *(What I refer to as the "shroud" throughout the video is simply the "clutch belt cover".) Runs smoothly.
