In this meeting, the Board continued its in-depth discussion on the future of Fire Services and Career Staffing Expansion. The discussion focused on whether or not to move forward with hiring an independent consultant to review Chief Wegman’s proposed staffing plan.
Following public comment and Board discussion, the Board voted 3-2 against engaging an independent consultant for a fire services study.
The Board is expected to decide later this year whether to include this fire service expansion in the 2026 Township Budget.
