There were reports that the death sentence of Indian nurse Nimisha Priya has been commuted in the case of the murder of a Yemeni national. Meanwhile, the Center dismissed the news and clarified that the death sentence has not been commuted, which seems to have brought the case back to the fore. While Nimisha Priya was to be executed on July 16, the Yemeni government postponed the sentence at the request of the Indian government. The family of the deceased Talal Abjo Mehdi is stating that there is no question of accepting blood money. With this, the suspense continues as to what turn the Nimisha case will take in the future.
