CAIEP to present ‘Fact Over Fiction: Understanding Misleading Health and Sustainability Claims’

Описание: The UNE Center to Advance Interprofessional Education and Practice (CAIEP) will virtually present “Fact Over Fiction: Understanding Misleading Health and Sustainability Claims” at the University of New England via Zoom from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
This event brings experts together to explore how communities and individuals can work together to make informed choices in a marketplace full of wellness promises and eco-claims. The session will explore the parallels between the predatory wellness industry and greenwashing and offer evidence-based tools for strengthening scientific literacy and collaboration across professions. This event is presented in partnership with the UNE Planetary Health Council.
The series is part of the University’s interprofessional education Knowledge Exchanges, focusing on values and ethics and communication. Participation may be applied toward students’ Interprofessional Honors Distinction, a nationally recognized digital credential.
