Royal Queen Seeds update 4/16

In this video I provide an update on the 4x2 grow all with Royal Queen Seeds cannabis plants.
There are
3 Dynamite Diesels in 5 gallon fabric pots (these are from Mike Tyson’s seed line)
2 OG Kush plants in 2 gallon pots
2 Blue Mystic plants in 2 gallon pots &
1 Cookies Gelato plant in 2 gallon as well.

These are all in HP Promix amended with organic dry amendments. I use earthworm castings (usually 1 TBSP per gallon), Dr Earth flower girl (usually 1 TBSP per gallon) and Stonington blend from Coast of Maine (usually 1 TBSP per gallon as well). I sometimes use more earth worm castings, it just depends on how much of them I have versus how much I want to use. For example, if the plant looks like it needs some nitrogen and a little boost- I will give it a few cups of EWC instead of just a few TBSP. The Dr. Earth and Stonington Blend I use at 1 TBSP per gallon of medium and during flower- I use an extra 2 or 3 TBSP for the Dr Earth Flower girl (as it is specifically for the flowering phase providing more P and K when the plant really needs it!).
Coast of Maine is another EXCELLENT brand and they make great soil and amendments. I will showcase some of them in a future video but I love them. They are a great company and the Stonington Blend of soil and dry amendment is SPECIFICALLY FOR CANNABIS PLANTS!! Check em out here:

The dry amendments are all mixed into the medium before planting and then I top dress them right before flowering (so there were top dressed on 3/10/25 with the same amendments). Top dressing is where you put the amount of the amendments on the TOP and then just work it into the soil so it eventually will make it down to the root zone for absorption by the plant. When I am initially planting into a pot, I just mix the amendments into the soil first and use my hands to mix it all up (that way the roots grow into the amendments and have direct access).

I use regular tap water that I do not PH. I have water constantly bubbling in a 5 gallon bucket that I water from. I use FOOP and only FOOP on my plants. I will put a link to their website here as well and do a review on FOOP in the near future. Stay tuned for that one.

I also use a watering wand to water directly from the bucket into the pots. I will put a link to the wand in description as well since it seems to be a sought after item. The watering wand avoids spilling water everywhere and missing the pot. I cannot count how many times I dumped the watering can and then the water gets all over the place. Giant mess -- watering wand avoids this.

The plants are doing great! I flipped them to flower 3/10 and now just maintaining and watering until the end!
