Описание: Munroe Island or Mundrothuruthu is an inland island group located at the confluence of Ashtamudi Lake and the Kallada River, in Kollam district, Kerala, South India. It is a group of eight small islets comprising a total area of about 13.4 km²

കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിൽ അഷ്ടമുടിക്കായലിനും കല്ലടയാറിനും ഇടയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ദ്വീപസമൂഹമാണ് മൺറോ തുരുത്ത്. കൊല്ലം താലൂക്കിൽചിറ്റുമല ബ്ലോക്കുപഞ്ചായത്തു പരിധിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ കൂടിയാണിത്. ഈ പ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ ആകെ വിസ്തീർണം 13.37 ച.കി.മീ. ആണ്. ഇവിടെ എത്തുന്നതിനു് റോഡ്, റെയിൽ, ജലഗതാഗത സൌകര്യങ്ങൾ ലഭ്യമാണ്.
