Beware of Camp Host Imposters, Free Camping California, Lassen National Forest Goumaz Campgrounds

Or, will we get stuck trying to revisit one of our favorite free campgrounds in the Lassen National Forest, just outside Susanville California. UPDATE: As of now, we still do not have an answer from authorities as to whether or not there was a camp host at some point or if someone was impersonating one. We did however reconfirm via the Lassen NF website that Goumaz Campground is free to camp at and no fee is required.
