Flydubai Flight Diverted To Saudi Arabia After Hijack Alert | Israeli Jets Scrambled | News9

Описание: A Flydubai flight travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv was diverted to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday after the aircraft reportedly transmitted emergency squawk codes, including code 7500, which is associated with unlawful interference. The alert prompted Israeli Air Force fighter jets to scramble, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held security consultations over the incident. The aircraft later transmitted emergency code 7700 and was diverted towards Tabuk in northwestern Saudi Arabia. However, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said the diversion was not believed to be a hijacking incident. The situation remains under investigation, with officials monitoring the aircraft and passengers as more details emerge.
