Shovel Knight (No Damage) - Part 14: Tower of Fate : Ascent

Описание: Well, this is the one the most people have likely been waiting for... This is that one stage, the stage that is going to ruin any sense of anything going smoothly, the one that is going to crush any previous outtake counts... it is, the Tower of Fate Ascent!

Now the stage itself is not completely ignorable... There are a couple of tricky enemy placements, a few little quirks to memorize such as enemies reacting to vertical scrolling in a very NES fashion (only existing once the screen gets far enough up), and the ever popular gyro knights... so even it can cause some trouble! Thankfully the stage is mercifully short... but for this type of run, one can wish it never existed at all.

The real trouble comes from this... The boss... or should I say, bosses. This is the refight stage like in any Mega Man styled game! You need to fight all eight of the Order of No Quarter back to back... and this means fighting all eight, rather dangerous bosses in a row, without taking a single hit. Usually Mega Man games have no, or very small stages before encountering the re-fights. Those games also have boss weaknesses to take them out quickly. Shovel Knight gives us neither of these, so better hold on tight, this is going to be a rough ride!

A couple of notes about the recording process of this, and thus the inevitability of me starting to get cranky... I decided to keep pushing forward with these recording attempts, even though I was clearly not doing my best, so as a result there were fifty recording attempts back to back, with a quick break to stretch and get a drink after thirty attempts. This is kind of nuts and had me awake until 4AM attempting this stage, so yeeeah... not the most coherent of commentary, but it is there! I was determined... and my stubbornness knows no bounds!
