UC RUSAL President's Forum - "8.5 Billion Global Consumers by 2030: Opportunity or Looming Disaster?"

Speaker -- Mr. Barry Cheung is an Independent Non-Executive Director of UC RUSAL. He joined the Company's Board in January 2010 having served as its Chairman in March - October 2012. Mr. Cheung is also the Non-official member of Hong Kong Executive Council, the Chairman of the Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange and the Urban Renewal Authority.

Theme -- With the number of global consumers expected to hit 8.5 billion by 2030, Mr. Cheung will provide insights into the positive and negative implications of this tremendous population growth.

Indeed, the next few years will likely see the emergence of unprecedented issues. Mr. Cheung will question whether the consequent increase in consumer spending power would contribute to a sustainable global economic recovery and, if yes, could our limited resources support the increase in demand? What role would Asia play? How can industries and corporations manage risks and take advantage of new opportunities? And what actions should governments take in order to improve resource management, both locally and globally?

These and other issues will be covered by Mr. Cheung as he draws greater attention to a major global milestone - one that should be of concern to all of us.
