This is a reaction/comparison/review video of The Move and Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) performing the Jeff Lynne penned "Do Ya". The Move recorded the song with Jeff Lynne in 1971 (I know I had said 1970 in my reaction). The song has the heavy guitars, a filtered vocal, some tings of psychedelic and a bizarre ending. ELO re-recorded the song in 1976 to put aside the notion that Todd Rundgren had written the song. Released on the "New World Record" album and as a single in January 1977, it has all the eliments of an ELO song; heavy guitar, excellent drumming, the 2 cellos and violin and Jeff's clear vocals.
