It is a blast getting out there with great friends. Elias managed to hook a double digit bonefish with the bonefish fly called the Kurupt Hawaiian. Keep in mind this is the only fly that Elias uses. We all caught fish in the heart of winter. Lots of fish everywhere.
How to use the Kurupt Hawaiian? The Kurupt Hawaiian bonefish fly is one of the best bonefish flies to catch bonefish and golden trevally. Once you cast the fly in front of the fish without spooking it, you will have to move the fly to get the bonefishes attention. Once you get the attention of the fish, then leave the fly in place and wait for the line to get taught. Strip set the fly line and reel the fish in. That’s pretty much it.
Warning: Fish caught in this video look easy to catch. These are professional anglers that are highly trained in catching bonefish. The edited video does not include the 3000 missed attempts before landing these fish. Basically catching bonefish isn’t as easy as the video portrays.
