Day 48 of 365, Bible in a Year 2026: Today we read the last chapter of Job, which lays down in actual numbers that we humans have life after death. The last chapter of Job also shows us a picture of "vicarious atonement." In the New Testament reading, Jesus's "Sermon on the Mount" is specific about 'the world to come,' the Millenial reign of Christ, the equity that will exist in Heaven on Earth, when we will truly have "Liberty and Justice for all!". In the Psalms, we compare David's lamentations to Job's lamentations.
