台湾单车环岛 was in my bucket list.
We took 9 days to complete 1000km.

This video is part 1, covering Xindian(Taipei), Taoyuan, Hsingchu, Miaoli, Changhua, Chiayi, Tainan to Kaohsiung and Pingtung. Stay tune for part 2 of our video, the Taiwan East Coast is picturesque!

What was different, was we visited three famous lighthouses too.
(West) GuoSheng, (South) Eluanbi and (East) Sandiaojiao.

So happy that my friends can join me in this epic journey.
We decided to engage a local vendor, so that we can fully enjoy the trip, without worrying about hotel and panniers. Taiwan round island itinerary is very doable for solo cyclists or diy.
(We shipped our own bikes over)

As mentioned many times before, Taiwan has the best cycling culture and infrastructure in ASIA! Food and friendly folks always leave memorable stories behind :)
