HO SCale OPs: Rock Island in the Park (pt.1)

Back in Operations Mode, this time we're back with the Rock Island. This is shaping up to be a 3 part series, so just a hint for what's coming. But, we are back in the Lewiston Industrial Park with a bit of action in Elm Creek also. The bulk of this series will be in Lewiston though.

This set is one of those times where all I had to do was film, and not operate the train. Ron was switching the industrial park with his Rock Island GP7 pair, so I grabbed my camera and filmed him at work. Just didn't expect I'd film as much of it as I did, and I still didn't get all of it filmed. If I did, this could have easily been a 6 part series. SO, sticking with just 3.

Coming this year, I'll be working on the front extension on my service facility modules, and in the next couple of months or so, we will finally be getting the new sections of the layout expansion put into the over all layout. We are wanting to have all this work done before the big NMRA Train show this summer. Our club is slated to be on the layout tour, so we have a deadline to get this done. So that means new areas of the layout will be making their debuts this year and it will mean a LOT more opportunity for operations.
