The HeRoSwarm project from the Heterogeneous Robotics (HeRo) Research Lab at the University of Georgia is an open-source swarm robotics platform built around small, fully-capable robots that support sensing, communication, computation, and motion with ROS (Robot Operating System) integration.
A multi-robot rendezvous demo shows multiple robots starting from different locations and, using only local sensing or communication, coordinating to move and meet at the same point without a central controller.
