A Story of Western Tragopan

Описание: In this video I tried to show how I manage to reach the Western Tragopan, so that I could be able to have some good photographs and videos of Tragopan . I spend more then two years, continuously visiting in the forest to complete this video. I'm really very thankful to Khem Raj who is local guy from near by village of Eco- Zone area of GHNP, to be with me in all my treks of GHNP. Without his help it never be possible to do this.
Great Himalayan National Park is the home of many rare Mammals, Birds and Plants. It is also a UNESCO's world heritage site. Its beauty cant be explain in few words. if you visit this place once you can better understand it.
Western Tragopan having a good population in this park. It is classified as Vulnerable on the Red List of International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Collection of herbs during his breeding season is the main threat to his existence. Park management continuously doing efforts to aware people of surrounding. But there are still miles to go. Hopefully in near future people will understand and start contributing in the conservation of Western Tragopan and as well as other wild animal and their habitat.
