In this video we repair a Conner 2.5" SCSI hard disk taken from an Apple PowerBook 100. The hard drive was just spinning up and down repeatedly and this is cause by the read head arm getting stuck to the perished rubber end stop. We open up the hard drive and place a tiny strip of tape over the surface of the rubber end stop.
Tools needed are a Philips screwdriver to remove age hard disk and brackets. Then to repair the drive you will need....
T6 Torx Screwdriver
Small flat head screwdriver
Thin tape (We use Kapton tape)
Sharp knife
Air blaster (optional)
