Generation Venetian Arts Society, GENVAS, is a fine arts nonprofit founded in 2011. Each year the organization creates original programming inspired by current events.  From South Florida, with Love! is GENVAS’ latest series and it was inspired by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This document was written in 1948, following the end of WWII, and  its purpose is to reaffirm the inherent dignity of “All Human Beings.”   The  Declaration’s opening words are “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. This series showcases global Artists who work across all genres and represent members of diverse racial, ethnic, and religious communities.

This episode features legendary prima donna  Eglise Gutiérrez, soprano performance at “Our Brilliant Tapestry” in May of 2024. In an electrifying performance, the duo perform the works of Ernesto Lecuona, composer/pianist, whose compositions have become Latin standards. The Cuban American Gutierrez is an international celebrity who has received a claim for her portrayals of Bel Canto Opera’s preeminent leading ladies. She has appeared on some of the world’s most prestigious venues & has performed with Andre Bocelli & other legendary Opera singers. Joining her is Roberto Berrocal, piano collaborator.
