In July 2020, the Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN) organised a Virtual Workshop for NGOs: Refugee Protection in the Context of COVID-19 for local and international NGOs working with refugees at Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. The Virtual Workshop featured international and national/local speakers and facilitators who are refugee law experts, refugee protection researchers, and humanitarian practitioners. This is one of the video presentations developed for the workshop.
In this video, Istiaque Ahmed provides an overview of protection monitoring and the importance of protection mainstreaming when working with refugees.
