We live in a time where the music isn’t the main point of criticism even in reviews of albums. Propoganda and messaging run rampant over popular culture as a whole and music is no exception. I thought it would be quite funny to compare how passionate and brutal music critics used to be towards reviewing music vs how soft and lenient they are today. P.S I read the phrase “big-a$$ voice” in pitchforks review of Sabrina Carpenter’s short n sweet. I couldn’t stop laughing at how ridiculous reviews have gotten and then i thought of making this video.
