Inside the Outer Reef 80: A Long-Range Cruising Yacht

Описание: On this episode of Floatplan, Matt Maynard and Tim Boyle step aboard Ginger, a 2010 Outer Reef 80 Motor Yacht, for an in-depth walkthrough of a beautifully maintained long-range cruiser.

With a 21-foot beam and a thoughtfully designed layout, Ginger offers impressive living and entertaining spaces without sacrificing the practical features that matter underway. Matt and Tim explore the yacht from bow to stern, taking a closer look at her accommodations, pilothouse, expansive engine room, and flybridge, complete with a sauna, hot tub, and some particularly clever uses of space.

Along the way, they discuss the engineering and equipment behind her cruising capabilities, including stabilization, electrical systems, machinery access, and the details that make Outer Reef yachts well suited to extended cruising.

From craftsmanship that has held up beautifully over nearly 17 years to a layout designed for comfort in all seasons, Ginger is a compelling example of what a capable cruising yacht can be.
