In today’s video I will show you how to paint a metal exterior door in a few easy steps.
Time: 3-4 hours
Skill Level: Beginner
Tools You Will Need:
Rags
Exterior Paint
Paint Chipper
Paint Tray
Small Paint Bush
Microfiber Paint Roller
Plastic or Towels to catch paint drippings
In this video we do not remove the doors before painting. Instead we chose to paint the doors on the hinges to save time. We plan to replace the doors soon and we were in search of a quick but neat fix. In order to prevent the paint from sticking in places where the doors overlap we did not paint it. We simply used a small paint brush to get very close to the edge but making sure not to paint the edges (if that makes any sense at all). Trust me its not noticeable. I hope these tips are helpful to refresh your entryway.
