This whole wheat bread is mixed, kneaded and baked in your bread machine (and NOT baked in your oven). Ingredients for this honey wheat bread recipe include milk, honey, butter, whole wheat flour, bread flour, salt and bread machine yeast. FYI - Honey is an easy addition to most bread machine whole wheat bread recipes. My honey wheat bread recipe creates a soft whole wheat bread that even kids love! :)

This whole wheat recipe is based on using regular “supermarket” whole wheat flour and NOT freshly milled flour. Freshly milled flour needs more moisture than supermarket whole wheat flour and can throw off this recipe.
