I Against I
For some bizarre reason, Massive Attack - I Against I ended up on the iPod Nano I got for my birthday when I was around 9 or 10. I was mostly listening to indie stuff as a kid, but every so often this song would come on shuffle, and it really stuck with me. In hindsight, it was probably one of the first bits of electronic music that I was regularly exposed to as a kid. Anyway, I recently came across the song on YouTube and got hit with a serious wave of nostalgia, along with the realisation this track absolutely bangs. Decided to give it the edit treatment so I could start playing it in sets, and this is the result. I've set it as a free download as a thanks to everyone who's been sharing and supporting my stuff this year - really does mean a lot!
Pagan
Dublin, Ireland.Pagan has been a familiar name for most, especially those watching the Irish and Dublin scene. From his breakthrough tracks such as Comet on Sunday’s and the ever popular, Mirage under his belt, his recent productions have had a strong rap & grime influence. Notably this latest remix and of course his recent Dizzie Rascal ‘I Luv U’ edit.
Pagan keeps the club ready grime sound coming with Ice Rink, his productions were recently picked up by AVA Belfast, where he was a nominee for the AVA Emerging Producer award.

Massive Attack
Collaborative British music production group from Bristol, England.
The band currently consists of Robert Del Naja, Tricky, and Daddy G. The original lineup also included Andrew Vowles. The group name is taken from a slogan sprayed by New York graffiti artist 'Brim', who sprayed 'Massive Attack' underneath a 'piece' in Bristol, UK in 1985. 'Brim', along with 'Balogun' and 'Bio' were part of the TATS CRU from NYC who sprayed a 'piece' each together at the Malcolm X Centre, St. Paul's in Bristol. Robert Del Naja, who was an upcoming graffiti artist at the time, with the tag 3-D, has stated that he/they had adopted the slogan initially as a name for a record label, and then later took it on as a band name. During the 1991 Gulf War the group name was shown on some releases as 'Massive' in order to maintain airplay after pressure from the British Government on radio programmers.
